MAIN THEME

The focus was on orchestra, cello, and electronic ambiences. Mustafa, being the sound engineer for the project, used softwares such as Ableton, Kontakt and Waves to refine the audio involved in the short film.

ACT- I

The instruments used were a heavy tempo trombone ensemble, a low form of cello, and a long attack set of keys. This tune intends to create the feeling of a warm room in a winter blizzard outside. The contrast is used to depict the comfort of reminiscence with the keys and yet the dominant trombone laying down the sinisterism of the threat outside, should this fine line crumble.

ACT- II

The instruments are a noisy synthesizer layered with a heavy tempo grand piano and a set of echoing ethnic drums. This tune intends to emphasize a thickened atmosphere where anxiety lingers more as a smell than a feeling. The consistency of this smell is emphasized by the synthesizer while the pounding of the self-questioning nerve is signified by the waves of the ethnic drums. Hence the title; Introspect.

ACT- III

The instruments used here are an ethnic drum ensemble and a low rumbling cluster of violins and trombones. The intention of this tune is purely to assert power and uncertainty. There is no warmth, no deeper feelings towards the chaos generated by art. Just violence equipped to eliminate.

ACT - IV

The instruments used here are an ensemble of frantic violins. The smell of blood and lead lingers in an air already saturated with the dust shaken off by a reckoned fear. With the thought of having the upper hand, you stepped into the den, knowing you crossed the point of no return. And as expected, you will not return.
